Privacy Policy - Unspin
Unspin is a free educational coach for commonly taught canalith repositioning steps (the Epley sequence). It is not a doctor, not a medical device, and it does not diagnose BPPV or any other condition.
What Unspin stores
Unspin does not collect personal data on any server. There is no account, no analytics suite, no advertising SDK, and no cloud sync.
This website (ryanmoalemi.app) uses Google Analytics to count visits, and this does not apply to the Unspin app.
On this device only, the app may store:
- Session log: date, ear side you chose, completed steps, optional better / same / worse self-report, whether motion sensors were live, and hold duration
- Settings (voice, haptics, motion assist, hold time, appearance)
- The one-time safety-disclaimer acknowledgment
Motion sensors
When Motion assist is on, Unspin uses the phone's orientation sensors live to coach head angles. Raw IMU streams are not uploaded and are not written to the session log.
Clearing data
Settings → Clear all local data removes the session log, settings, and disclaimer acknowledgment on this phone.
Children
Unspin is not directed at children. It does not collect contact information or create accounts.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the hosted page will be updated.
